In my true procrastinating fashion, I neglected to book the photo studio for my product shoot and ended up in a little situation. Because I didn't book the studio, I had to create my own studio-lighting set up at home with my camera, a strobe light, a pink poster board, a pair of running shorts, a piece of wood and a piece of tulle. I wanted to go for a monochromatic look and I found that I could recreate a pink color filter by rubber-banding a piece of red tulle over the strobe light to create a pink tinted light. I hung up the poster in my room and began to shoot.
The biggest challenge I had were the reflections in the glasses/glass. The glasses often reflected fingerprints or parts of my room. I was constantly cleaning the glasses and readjusting the angle of the glasses. This could have been prevented in a light shed, or with other studio lights, but I had to work with what I had!
Here's a timelapse of the process!
