On Friday I had the opportunity to photograph my sister and her roommates on the Lawn at UVA. The photoshoot was far from flawless, especially considering the volume of other students getting their photos taken. In most situations I was able to position the girls and myself so that you were unable to see them in the background. There were a few situation during which I was unable to do so, which encouraged me to develop my photoshop skills in efforts to get a cleaner picture for them. The photo to the left is the original, and the photo to the right is my edit!
I utilized my new Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens and absolutely loved it. I worked on aperture priority mode so I had the most control over depth of field while not having to worry about the ISO or shutter speed. Overall, I'm super pleased with how the shoot went and can't wait to do more like it!
